It seems like only yesterday that I was sitting down to write my February Favourites post – damn, this year is speeding by! Let’s get into what I was loving in the month of March…
Firstly, a non-beauty related item. I had to purchase a new watch in March – and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it because my birthday is coming up in May and I think a watch would be nice to put on my wish list. So I headed into Lovisa, which is a great affordable accessories store here in Australia. I picked up this adorable grey, white, and rose gold watch for about $30.00 AUD. I love it, I’ve been wearing it every day and the colours are so great as we transition from Summer to Autumn. The watch I have is linked here but unfortunately you cannot shop online with this store! You can browse and have a bit of an online window shop though.
My next favourite is of course the Jeffree Star Cosmetics ‘Androgyny’ palette, which I wrote a review on last week. I won’t go into why I loved it this month – you can read all about it here.
I always like to talk about nail polish in my monthly favourites. This month I was loving the Rimmel Super Gel nail polishes in the shades ‘Bare Hug’ (nude greige) and ‘New Romantic’ (pale pink). I really like the formula of these gel polishes – they have a thin consistency, so I like to apply two layers, but they dry to a really hard, strong finish, especially when used with the Rimmel Super Gel top coat. These shades are super cute as well – my favourite of the two has to be ‘Bare Hug’ though as it is unique to my collection and slightly more opaque than the pink shade. You can pick these babies up from Priceline in Australia.
Lastly (I know, it’s a short favourites post this month) I was absolutely loving my Kylie Cosmetics gloss in the shade ‘Damn Gina’ from the Koko Kollection (which has now been made permanent, HALLELUJAH!). I really love the formula of the Kylie glosses – they aren’t sticky at all, they last a good amount of time for a gloss, they are quite moisturising and feel good on the lips, plus they are gorgeous and pigmented. Damn Gina is a pale peachy pink gloss with lots of pink, silver, and gold sparkle throughout it. It is beautiful. I highly recommend it, or any of her other permanent glosses (So Cute is great for pale beauties like me though).
What products have you all been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below – I love reading favourites posts, so if you’ve written one for your own blog, be sure to leave the link below and I’ll check it out!
