Yay, another monthly favourites post! These guys really roll around quickly – I can barely keep up! That’s a lie, I totally can, I love so many products and cannot wait to rant and rave about them each month with my lovely readers! Let’s get into it…
Too Faced – La Crème Colour Drenched Lipstick
I am obsessed with this lipstick that my bestie bought me for my birthday in the shade Nude Beach! The formula of these lipsticks is so creamy and nourishing. It’s almost like a lip balm (perfect for the cooler months here). I already had the shade Spice Spice Baby in this range but I find Nude Beach more wearable and perfect for every day. I have been wearing this lipstick daily to work and I honestly love it. The packaging is delightful as well.
Colourpop x Sonya Esman
My next favourite is the Colourpop x Sonya Esman super shock cheek duo in Here Comes The Sun. When I bought this product online I didn’t actually realise it was in the super shock formula – I thought it was one of the new pressed face powders. Don’t get me wrong, I love my super shock eye shadows, but I was worried about the face powders as they are quite difficult to apply with a brush. Using your fingers is actually recommended with these super shock products, so I ditched the tools and haven’t looked back since.
I absolutely love the natural finish of these powders – they really sink into your skin and look so natural. This has been another daily staple for me in June, as it is so quick to apply in the mornings before work, and gives the loveliest finish that lasts all day. I really love using cream products for a quick and flawless face, and this cheek duo is the perfect cream/powder hybrid – I really recommend it!
NYX – Strobe of Genius
My next favourite was actually gifted to me by the lovely Victoria from Victoria’s Beauty Edit in a giveaway that I won over on her Instagram (go and check her out immediately if you haven’t already!). It’s the NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette and it’s a product that I have seen around for ages but always managed not to buy on account of the fact that I “didn’t need any more highlighters” or whatever else we tell ourselves when we are trying not buy an entire Priceline store. I’m so glad I won this palette because I was really missing out by not having it in my collection. At first I thought a lot of the shades were going to be too dark on my fair skin, but mixing them with the lightest shade works wonders. I love applying the darker bronze highlighters all over my eyelids for an easy daytime glam look. They look amazing as eye shadows! This little palette offers so many looks in one. My highlight game just went way up!
Essie nail polish
Lastly, my nail colour of the month is by Essie in the shade In Stitches. This polish is a brick red colour and it’s so pretty and autumnal. Sometimes I find red nails just a bit too much, which is why I prefer these slight variations of red shades for something a bit more unique. Essie’s formula is one of the best I have ever tried. I definitely recommend picking up literally any shade in their range. I love these nail polishes so much!
That concludes my favourites for June. As always, thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, and I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know what products you have been loving lately!
